It packs the same five seater capacity powered by a 1.4 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and six speed transmissions with 153 horsepower. Built into it, is the standard front wheel drive backed by an optional all-wheel drive. This motor vehicle is a rarity that comes in four different trims: Premium, Base, Leather and Convenience. Since its inception in 2012 it has been one of the most unique products by Buick in its 116 year history.
Features
This car deceptively holds onto all the characteristically Buick features. With a hushed cabin and a laundry list of chic features including a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and a heated steering wheel; the Buick Encore is right for today’s consumer. Designed to motor engineering perfection the Encore has top crash tests and an impressive maneuverability in narrow spaces. The 2016 model comes with a 29-pound feet of torque and an extra 15-horsepower in the 1.4 litre engine. A six speed automatic transmission is its standard operation. This comes in handy when you need that additional boost of acceleration. Furthermore, this model has upgraded the number and variety of colors to choose from.
Interior
The Encore makes up for its smaller interior with an upscale and exquisite inner finishing. Its interior has an air of tranquility to it, coupled with an aesthetic feel and a comfortable, elevated driving position. In an Encore you have the luxury of heated mirrors, rear privacy glass, elegant upholstery and a fold-flat passenger seat. It offers you a satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and a six speaker sound systems. It also has the standard Buick’s interlink that features a smartphone app integration and a 7-inch touchscreen.
Safety
This Encore has a blind-spot warning system, remote ignition, a 120 volt power outlet and fog lamps. It has an amazing fuel economy and stability control, including both front and rear side airbags. These features make up for a slightly lesser acceleration for automobiles in its range. This is the one car in the crossover category that has received the highest crash test safety rating.
Overview
Its interior is a soft touch area which offers a wide space and sufficient legroom, and it is the one crossover that is well fitted with noise cancelling technology. The adjustable driver’s seat has a commanding view of the road and the surrounding of the car. The 1.4 litre engine has been upgraded to the more powerful version in the Sports Touring version.
